A fine art gicleé print on thick cotton rag paper. Half inch border on all sides, edges hand deckled. 

Based off of a study I did on the hills around Hood River, referenced by a photo taken out of a dirty windshield.

There is a cool breeze wrapped up in this piece - a long whispered song, about land with an old spirit and sacred hands holding it quietly with tenderness. Sunlight on green grass and thick woods lapping at the feet of swelling hills, and wild shadow kissing the land goodnight. I suppose you could say this is the way it should be - should have stayed - should be again. “And All Returns to This” is about sovereignty, alignment, and the hope that there is a greater power than that which destroys … how else can I say I am hurting deeply over the ravaging of the wild lands and clean water and blue sky. This piece has been a salve and a dedicated hope - a look into that old spirit that is in the hills and dells and shadows and sweet smelling fields. The way of man is fast and decisive. The way of nature is slow but resolved. It all gets folded in and back out.
