a grand wall stood before me, etched with ancient lava flow and shifting.  a gentle, dried river bed. an overhang where the willow was fond to grow. a hollow in the wall where many a small being has found a home. almost like a watchful eye, peaking out of the stone to see what sort of happenings are going on outside. and all that it has seen goes by without a word. 2024.
