A view of the Three Sisters Mountains through a deep canyon in the high and dry plains of north eastern oregon. I listened to Riders of the Purple Sage from start to finish with this painting, and can point to each place and say what part of the book I was in during the execution. Suffice it to say, this piece is about coming through tribulation unto the hard fought for peace.
