my first painting of the Grand Canyon. For as long as I have been writing, or painting, I have been turning over themes of death and rebirth and the things that have been affecting the thing to come. no place captures that visible passing of time like this place. the impermanent woven into the ancient, each holding each other and reflecting the need of the other, feeding into the eco system and breathing through the setting of the sun and the rising of the moon, again and again and again. A story woven before our eyes.
